Dear families,
It was wonderful seeing many of you at Parent-Teacher conferences!
This week, students enjoyed some truly beautiful weather. They spent time at recess playing outside in the warm sunshine! Another highlight from the week was Arts and Poetry Night. On Thursday, our school was transformed into an art gallery, filled with students' artwork and poems. For those of you who were unable to attend on Thursday, artwork will be on display for the the next few weeks. Stop by and take a look!
Looking ahead...
Next Monday, third graders will be going to the Museum of Fine Arts in Boston to see their ancient Egypt exhibit.
Next Tuesday, we will be visited by a representative from Perkins School for the Blind. Jaimi Lard, who is both blind and deaf, will be speaking to the third grade. She and her interpreter will be in the Friends Academy library at 1:30. Families are welcome to join!
The Friends Academy Spring Concert will be on May 12th at 6pm in The Commons. This is a "dress up" event.
